Stakeholder Validation for the JKF Strategic Plan 2023-2027

The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation (JKF), a state-owned enterprise established in 1966, is transitioning to a new role as recommended by the Presidential Working Party on Education Reform (PWPER). PWPER’s June 2023 report highlighted the need for a centralized body to manage scholarships and bursaries in basic education. As a result, JKF is preparing to assume this responsibility under the proposed Basic Education Scholarships and Bursaries Council (BESBC).
