JKF Elimu Scholarship 2026 Cohort Selection
A few months ago, the 2026 JKF Elimu Scholarship program cohort successfully reported and settled into their respective schools all over the country. This milestone marked the culmination of months of coordination, dedication and hard work by the JKF team and various stakeholders involved in the selection and placement process across the country. This was the first cohort of Grade 10 students under the CBE curriculum and the first Grade 10s under the Elimu Scholarship Program.

The transition into Junior Secondary school was not without its challenges. However, the JKF team worked tirelessly to ensure that every Scholar was placed in school and supported throughout the reporting process. The commitment and collaboration between JKF and education partners helped ensure that scholars began their academic journey with the support they needed.
The 2026 awardees and their parents/guardians also played a vital role in this success. Their patience, resilience, and commitment during the placement period contributed greatly to the reporting process. While a few issues initially arose, the JKF team remained actively engaged, working diligently to resolve outstanding concerns and ensure that each student was properly and comfortably settled.

Recently, when the awardees came for their mid-term, the JKF Team was also at hand to assist with any unresolved issues and to check on their progress in school. As the scholars continue their academic journey, the JKF Elimu Scholarship program remains dedicated to supporting them throughout their studies and helping them realize their full potential.

JKF Managing Director Mr. David Mwaniki addressing the gathering
We wish the 2026 JKF Elimu Scholarship awardees continued success and a fulfilling academic journey ahead.
